    Who is this mysterious “Pat”? From the video it looks like Bertoletti (no mohawk?). No amateur could eat that fast. And who’s his friend in the video who finished just 46 seconds behind him?

    I checked this as well. If you go to Bertolettis website you will see that he has it posted that it is him.

    Not only is it a challenge. It is a challenge eating a burger that is not a Krystal. I thought burgers and dogs were in the forbidden zone for IFOCE eaters to eat in challenges. Bertoletti must not be under contract anymore. If he was he shouldn’t be after this.

    I do not know the rules/agreements IFOCE eaters make when they sign their contracts, but if this is the case, ited be interesting to hear from Deep Dish the status of his contract and or the provisions that would allow or disallow him from doing the contest. With the recent arguements pertaining to “pro” vs “amatuer” status and who can and cannot do what challenges, I think it only fair that the competitive eating community be informed as to exactly who is allowed to do what.

    I hope Pat did leave the IFOCE. It would be really great to see him and Furious Pete eat together. Maybe Pete could give Pat some tips on becoming a better eater. Pete seems like a good guy and I don’t think he’d mind taking Bertoletti under his wing for a little while.

    What a sad moment in the world of competitive eating First Furious Pete 3lb burger gets no mention followed by Pat leaving the IFOCE. This is to much for one person to handle. I think i will jump off the golden gate bridge

    the rules of the IFOCE are as follows; Section 6.1, Article 9 reads that top 10 eaters (and a few select others) can do any challenge they choose without permission because the IFOCE would be nothing without them. Eaters ranked 11 and below cannot and will not do any challenges whatsoever or they will be held accountable for their actions and disciplined as the Sheas see necessary.

    You dont know how much of an asshole Frank is do you. He works in IT and has been hacking websites since 1997 man. It is no problem for him to get onto a site and add some photos of himself just to piss Pat off. See Pat owes him fourteen dollars and twelve cents from this time they went out to eat and never paid him back. Frank is to proud to ask for the mone directly so he does shit like getting onto your facebook page and telling your wife she looks fat in some picture to get back at people. It is all very simple if you read between the lines man. Tim sadly has just been dragged into this whole mess. I would also not say anything about about Frank because he has a taste for old ladies and will bang your mom to get even. Alive or dead he does not care he is nuts.
