Some of those totals are incorrect. Pat & Allen’s are correct. . One local ate 16.5 not 17. Dont know where you got the 15. I ate 12 1/2 to put a permanent end to my hot dog career. Crazy Legs and Eater X insisted i give it one last go around. I was not going to compete after Shea stadium but i wanted to go with big numbers and they convinced me to do another. It was 1 1/2 more than last time but not enough to bring me out of hot dog retirement. This was the last for me . That is a promise.

Not to be “Tony Technical” but I did 22.5…I was hoping to improve upon my personal best of 25… I guess not…maybe on the 4th! 🙂
..everyone did a great job, especially Don Lerman, for competing while just after recovering from surgery!

Very exciting Molly Pitcher event. .Congrag to Pat from Moonachie . Everytime Goldstein takes the stage its always action packed to the very end. For those that have high def tv programming , please dont leave the house the evening of july 4th and the days that follow . Myself ,Don Lerman & George Shea will grace the airwaves on INHD ‘s Eats of strength.It is color commentary in an avant garde abstract format .In other words “Quite bizarre”

I knew it was coming. On donmoseslerman.com , Lerman has promised us another hiatus from competitive eating so he could lose weight .How many of these one month hiatus have we been subjected to in the last couple of years.? I cannot even count. He also failed to mention that he will be more consistant. .Please check out the number of misspelled words in his latest post. Frightening! Would you like to take wagers that he will be back in the wingbowl, back in buffalo, and back at Nathans same time next year.

Lerman so far the best picture i ever saw on your website is your dad and sister standing in front of a day old bread store in 1976 . He looked like he was going to kick your ass if the picture didn’t come out good

Congrats Pat for the third of three fine performances. I look forward to seeing you at Coney. I predict Goldstein will make it in his next attempt as he did a great job as well. Today I am going to watch the Daly City qualifier with Jed, Erik and maybe Ron Koch. It should be a good one. I’m also eagerly awaiting Pat Bertoletti’s total from the Atlanta qualifier and Hall’s final average to determine his qualifying number for the wild card spot. I would love to see Hall make it to Coney as well as he is a true class act.
