Patrick Vandam wins Lewisville tamales

A press release posted to the comments has the results from today’s tamale contest in Lewisville, TX. Patrick Vandam won his first non-qualifier contest by eating 44 tamales.

I underestimated how tough tamale eating would be. Those darn things kept getting stuck in my throat. And it was ridiculous hot here today. Nate kicked my ass! Must get revenge in next foodstuff.

whats up,it was a fun contest ,even though i swear im getting worse ,lol – Vandam ,kicked ass – and Wild Bill thanks for your words of incouragement,my boy Nasty Nate did pretty well,and on a funny note ,how many times did Gravy get called “Elvis”,haha – and Ryan did a great job MCing as usual,and then went to the beach – Have A Nice Day 🙂

hey i love Vegas,even when i dont win,its a fun place,lots of hot girls.lol – yes anonymous ,i do have fun,i actually go to try and entertain the crowd and eat too,but im much better working the crowd,if you were an eater and maybe went to an event you might now that – and by the way ,good luck to Brent Ricord tomorrow in Corny dogs,he tied for the win last year with 12 – i ate like crap,but i had fun scaring the crowd,he he he he (evil laugh) – Have A Nice Day 🙂

it was great meeting more people, syko bozo there is no way you dont win best dressed eater, kevin, pat vd, bill, tim all great to meet u and eric and nate always a good time.. as for my performance im kinda embarrased my body just wouldnt work for me no excuse i just couldnt do it wasnt my day wasnt my time good job to everyone else i sure melted under that texas sun but i did enjoy putting about 1200 miles on my car in about 18 hours looking forward to next time but hopefully under some shade,

It was about the water, i asked them where it was they ripped my ass and said it was are problem and i was like okay so i said something to one of the guys next to me about the water situation and like 3 of them came up to me like we are from the streets and will kick your ass… i paused turned my head laughed abit then they were like eating isnt a real sport and a few comments like that then i said a few profanities to them and that was the end of it… classless on both parts but it was fun…. maybe if u email the guy from lewisville he will know who took them pictures

Hey Paul,this is SyKoBOZO if you look in my folder Major League Eaters, i have pics of most people in the Tamales event,and Gravys peach colored,ruffles included 70’s prom shirt was cool, and i can just see Nic dressed as The Incredible Bulk almost getting jumped by the tamale girls,i guess on mine,Gravys and Wild Bills end we had the hot nice tamale girls,lol – Have A Nice Day:)
