What these numbers really tells me is that if Jamie McDonald doesn’t join MLE, if he even has that opportunity, he should have his head examined. It took 26 contests for McDonald to make $550 more than Joey Chestnut made in 10 contests. That doesn’t even count the cost of all the dumps McDonald had to pay to stay at and travel expenses he had to pay to travel to. After eating at more an average of about two contests per week, McDonald is only average an average prize of $819.00 per contest. That’s third, fourth place MLE money and the third and fourth place MLEr doesn’t work as hard and sometimes gets paid for their expenses. Chustnut’s prize money averages $2,065.00, plus he gets paid travel expenses and hotel fares to go to places like Puerto Rico, with the benefits of a professional media management team to get his name out there in the public. Now I’m not saying he’s as good as Chestnut, but if McDonald literally wants to continue to eat his ass off APE/indie chump change syle he should stay where he is. If he wants to make money and a name for himself he should step up to MLE.

2:43 LOLsss. More money is more money. A indy has made more than anyone else in CE as the numbers above show. He makes his own schedule and just knowing you are free to do as you wish, when you wish, and with whom you wish… is priceless! I hope he never signs nor do I think he will or should. Also Jamie not signing is very good for his carreer and for Koby as he may eventually beat the king wcich would catapult his popularity world wide.

6:10, you sound like a greedy man. Time and health are also assets which have an invaluable cash value. Did you forget about those? Jamie seems healthy, which is good, but to keep up a scedual such as his will turn in on even the most healthy.
On the choice to sign to MLE or stay indy, I am torn honestly because both would do Jamie well. Jamie will make alot of money Indy, but alot of money MLE as well. One thing he will get more with MLE is publicity and recognition. You are wrong about him beating Kobi and getting worldwide popularity. What happens when Pat beats Joey in wings, or X takes the Chili championship? Locally it’s an upset, but thats as far as it goes. Joey it known as the world champion because he wins in front of millions of people on the 4th of July. Unless Jamie wins on a stage so big he won’t get that sort of aclaim
