The only time you see major changes to the fed’s site is when someone does something to tarnish the image. Shame they can’t run their organization with the same integrity they expect from their eaters

    1. I think Matt should have been ranked higher already. My bet would be 6th.

    2. Same as anonymous @3:55. However i might guess the answer, probably their contracts are still on effect so they might not drop them till them expire. As i didn’t bought the “koby has only competed in 1 contest last year why is he stil ranked 2nd?” back in the time i won’t buy that excuse now either, they are very good eaters and as long as they are still in the IFOCE they should be ranked very high because they are very good eaters.

    3. It’s true that the rankings have been updated a handfull of times right after someone has to be dropped from the list. I’m curious about it.

Was Shawn Kirby dropped because he participated as a judge in Kobayashi’s taco contest? Hummm, very interesting. Where is Inspector Noodle.

Kirby was #50, so he might have been just been pushed out when Michelle was added.

unless your in the Top 10-15, being ranked by the IFOCE doesn’t really mean crap, its just filler to make a Top 50, like putting a Geo Metro in a Top 50 cars poll. It’s more for that person to say they are ranked by the IFOCE if anything else.

1053 you could not be more wrong. It is better to have a ranking than no ranking at all. Ranked eaters get first crack at getting into contests as opposed to non ranked eaters. It does stand for something

10:09 – half those eaters haven’t even been in a contest in like 2 years, please the ratings are a joke, some of the people that are on it, haven’t won anything or even come close and yet they are ranked, their ranked because they go to events, not because they are good eaters, pleaseeeeee

#21 is a hell of a start, but no doubt her rank will jump up with a few more contests.

Of course eaters want to be ranked. Why wouldn’t they? Where they are in the rankings is often subjective. Yes, it would seem that MLE does not pay close attention to changing the rankings. They are busy arranging contests and do not make some things top priorities. It really doesn’t hurt them, does it? It is only the die-hard fans and eaters who debate the rankings.

As for Shredder, for someone who competes once or twice a year, #23 ain’t a bad spot to be in.

818 it is not about Shredder competing once a year. It is about MLE false belief and hope that by keeping Monsoon and Shredder in the rankings will inspire them to compete more

why are you always so obsessed with Shredder? He minds his own business and never comes on here complaining or hating on anybody.

Shredder fan why are you turning a ranking conversation into an obsession with Shredder? . Nobody is obsessed with Shredder and i am sure he does not hate anyone . His name came up because of the change in rankings and some are wondering why he is ranked so high when he only competes in one contest per year

I think that inactive eaters like Shredder, Monson, and Hall Hunt stay in a respectable ranking because of their potential. For example, they can each eat 25+ hotdogs on their worst day which makes them a force to be reckoned with. If they remain inactive, they will be moved down the rankings and replaced with new blood coming into the game. It took almost a year to remove Rich Lefevre and Arturo Rios from the rankings.
