    Why do you think Crazy Legs is going to Old mIss? As usual they set up an easy one for him just like the shredder will have an easy one in Boston.

    I look for Legs to do 24 or 25. His improvement is very gradual, steady and consistent—-about a dog or so per year. That’s probably the best way, because that way you enjoy / appreciate the journey more.

    (Assuming Rich will be in Biloxi) The IFOCE should preclude their top eaters from competing against each other in the same contest. Once that starts, it can be like dominos falling for subsequent events. I don’t think any of the eaters are well heeled enough to afford travel to multiple locations to win a qualifier.

    A couple of years ago I thought it was very unfortunate that Humble Bob and Sonya competed against each other in Philly. Had Sonya lost, I doubt she would have been interested in traveling to a second location to “qualify.” It’s a shame Bob had to do that.

    Assuming you sign/have signed the contract, the IFOCE boys will put you in a location so you can be sure to win, without knocking out another top eater. They’re (usually) pretty good about deconflicting locations for their Coney regulars.

    It would not surprise me one bit if they put Pete in VA knowing that SOnya might be doing AC and Charlotte. That would surely mean curtains for Butiful Brian clinging to his last attempt in 12 yrs to make it to Coney . Pushing 50 i think his time has passed . I dont think its a good idea to throw him in with the wolves at the very beginning . It might scare him off and screw with his confidence. A wise choice would be Boston or Citifield . Big crowd Lots of drama

    I would also like to know what his intentions are. It’d be nice to know there’s actually something interesting to look forward to during this Nathan’s farce. Should be a simple yes or no whether he is joining the IFOCE and/or if he is doing a qualifier.

    Rhonda, I have to disagree with your idea that the IFOCEMLE should preclude top ranked eaters from competing against each other in qualifiers. There are only so many qualifiers, so it’s inevitable that some high ranking eaters will face off against each other (especially considering that Bob or Sonya would probably rather compete in Philly than travel to California or wherever for a qualifier). And if Sonya lost and she wants a spot at the Coney Island table, she’ll just have to try again at another qualifier.

    Understand MM, and this is certainly not a perfect world. I just think that should be the exception, versus the default/norm.
