    This is one of the big problems of Man vs. Food. There used to be a few truly good, original challenges out there — a couple of big steaks, a couple of giant burgers and pizzas — and those restaurants deserved to be profiled for their originality. But most of the featured restaurants on Man vs. Food have recently created these giant dishes for the exact purpose of catching the eye of Man vs. Food and using it for free publicity. You can read proof of it on that dumb message board that the Travel Channel runs. It’s completely insincere. It feels contrived. It’s not fun to watch or support.

    What needs to be done is that some eaters should show up at those challanges and destroy him at his own game,he opens up the show saying hes not a competative eater, yet he does all these fake challanges created just for him..I know if he comes down my way Ill show up and order the same item made for him..I was already told that it was a closed set when he was in my city..

    It’s not surprising that a dish had to be invented for his arrival. Honestly, what would he eat in Knoxville? Get fast food from every drive-through within five miles of the strip? Tightly packed fast-food chains are, of course, the only things Knoxville has going for it in terms of food facts.

    Knoxville has zero charm, zero atmosphere, and zero allure. Littons is great, but it’s not even in Knoxville. Hell, Knoxville barely even has history besides the World’s Fair failure. Maybe the city of Knoxville can contrive a restaurant in the Sun Sphere and get him to go there.

    Litton’s IS delicious and IS IN KNOXVILLE. It is in North Knoxville at the corner of Essary Road and Broadway. I don’t know HOW that is NOT in Knoxville. Red-Rock-Run, can you elaborate please? Thanks.
