Pat Bertoletti set the original record of 4:10 for the Kickapoo Joy Juice Taco Trough Takedown on WCIU's "You & Me This Morning today. DNAInfo reports that someone who can finish the 6 pound "Big Jim Reeves" and a half liter of Kickapoo Joy Juice will in 4:09 or less will win $5000. A finishing time of 4:10 - 6:09 will result in a $2000 prize. Professional eaters including Kobayashi and Molly Schuyler are welcome to compete in the contest.

Tim said animals such as dogs and bears are allowed to win the contest as well. I know a bear handily beat Kobayashi in bunless hot dogs one time,so it could happen here too.
Chipmunking is allowed according to Tim. So if you just shove everything in your both before time expires, you win, even if it takes a while for you to swallow.
Pat made a few mistakes, which slowed his time:
a. He used a utensil.
b. He mixed the sour cream in.
c. He drank water for the taco, and waited until the end to drink the Joy Juice
d. He did not chipmunk.
I can foresee a number of eaters beating Pat’s time, including Molly, Kobayashi, Dave, Bob, Jamie, and possibly Stephanie Torres, Wayne, Tom, Randy, Teddy, and Erik Lamkin.
