WLOCE announces that Bella Mooz in Bangalore, India will hold the World Ice Cream Eating Championship on April 1. Four-person teams will need to eat a Moozilla ice cream challenge to qualify. The four teams qualifying for the finals will compete against Dale Boone.

    A good idea for an April Fool’s joke is to promise them Joey and then give the qualifiers the shock of their lives when they realize they’re competing against Dale.

    This is a culmination of bullcrap that Dale Boone had up his sleeve for the longest. Remember a few yrs back when Dale was thrown out of the IFOCE he came back a few months later in 2008 under some fake name like alerting us all that , “Big news is comin just wait” ! Well the WLOCE garbage was the big earth shattering news we were all waiting for .

    Let me play advocate for OJ. OJ posts anything and everything having to do with competitive eating. He doesn’t discriminate. He just post the item with little commentary and allows us to comment regarding the validity of lack of regarding the item. He may have his own opinion, but I admire how journalistically he keeps his opinions to himself and lets the readers decide for themselves. I wish more in the media took that same non biased approach.

    Now, regarding Boone. He always had a big head. But, with egotists, I just think it’s a front for his feelings of inadequacy. Everything he’s ever done in competitive eating has been a total failure. Never was a good MLE eater. Had to form his own fake organization where he could put himself as the number one eater the world. How conspicuously transparent is that? He even had to go to another country, with obviously less than stellar eaters, to fill his ego with false superiority. Most recently, he goes about bragging how Suzilla is going to make him and his organization the biggest show on earth, and the show fails even before it’s first airing. Fortunately, he’s so abrasive and obnoxious it’s easy to not feel sorry for him. I remember one year he tried jawing with Carlene claiming she was too old. She kicked his butt. A wonderful moment in competitive eating history. You can talk all you want in competitive eating, but it’s hard to eat and talk at the same time.
