PUKING – My take is if you puke after a food challenge it’s a FAIL. Either on purpose self induced or natural body rejection puking. You puke, you fail. That includes post challenge! Simple as that. I’m sure the PUKERS will disagree.

@744 – I think most would agree with you on involuntary puking. That’s why most contests have a cooldown period and virtually all challenges have the stipulation that you need to keep the entire meal down for the duration of the challenge until it’s completed. For the intentional puking afterwards to limit the calorie intake, I see some people disagreeing with you on that one. I think it’s BS when eaters claim not to when its obvious they do. It’s like some body builders that claim to be natural when clearly they are enhanced. Just be open about it.

    @916 I agree

We need more people who keep all the food down after challenges and work off the calories via exercise or have legitimate medical conditions that prevent weight gain.

    The list includes:
    Jack legath
    Eli Lessig
    Max Stanford
    Josh the goat
    Charlie chew crew
    Bandana eats
    Moh motion

Others feel free to add who I may have missed. These are the true patriots of competitive eating.

4:13 how about in his training? was he keeping down the 3 gallons of water he used to stretch his stomach?

    Bullshit. Kobayashi definitely puked.

For the US Open of competitive eating in 2005, Kobayashi did 5 contests in three days

9:16 – when did these eaters decided to start puking? were they always bulimic or was there a personal or physical threshold where it was safer to reverse than digest?

3 gallons? Koby was at 5.25 gallons at his peak

@329 , I know for sure Eli, Jack, and Max all keep it down for every challenge and contest. JJ Da Lion also posts a lot of workout stuff too so I’m sure he does also. I think James Webb said he had a condition too so we can add him .

Does anybody know why Cherish won’t publicize what her job is?

8:12 – Because she doesn’t really have a job. It’s simple as that. Definitely not a hard full time job that’s for sure.

Most people hate their job and we’re making fun of someone for not having to have one? The world makes less and less sense every day.

When you date three or four competitive eaters/people at the same timeand you choose your best option, that’s pathetic

5:46 – 5.25 gallons is absurd. What kind of water was he using that prevented hyponatremia if he “never puked…”

3:29 – Need to throw Jack Pukeath’s protege, Kyle Can Eat, on that list. He just posted to his social media stories that he completed two challenges in two days.

@650, not possible. The great Kyle can eat (with 101k YouTube subs) says he only does one challenge a week to make sure he doesn’t gain weight.

I’ve seen and heard of 3-4 gallons for him and others, but where is it stated Kobayashi did 5? That would be a water cooler size bottle!

That was a joke…sry. Koby (nor any other human for that matter) has ever been close to 5 gallons. I’ve heard whispers of 4 /4.25, but not verified. 4 gallons were talking almost 34 pounds–that’s just absurd. Not say it isn’t possible, but I think you could count the number of people that have been at 4 gals on one hand.

2:56 – 5 gallons aside, how much of Kobe’s 3 pounds was he keeping down?

I’m sure Bob Stoudt could have done like 6 gallons! Come on you pussies! He’s a legend and is more than happy to spam all your social media in replies to try and stay relevant.
