    If she isn’t on the “official” list, what do you mean by she’ll be there…..is she just looking for more publicity but not planning to eat or is she going to try to eat, in which case she needs to be official. Sounds like not of the caliber to go up against a Larell or be in the new group of women if she cannot eat 10, or even if she cannot, do it, be a good sport about it, get whatever publicity, and go from there. Official or not official, you have to choose. Be a JamminJoe, be a GJoe, be a Larell, be a USMale etc. Make up your mind and go for something. There is plenty of room in competitive eating for all stripes.

    Did any of you guys see the movie the “Grifters” starring the very attractive Grace Lee. See Grace Lee sees these small Asian American gals getting media attention and figures out a way to cash in for herself. So she stages a few bogus eating contests on the internet against local celebrities (shills) using speeded up video. After she sets up a few wins for herself, she goes around telling everyone including the media and local radio that’s she’s undefeated and the best competitive eater around. When in fact she really isn’t that good at eating and her real talent is posing for the cameras. Now local eateries hire out her company (G-Spots) to do events for local media attention and to promote menu items. Unfortunately for her, a real eating contest came to her area and kind of ruined her scam when everyone found out that she could barely eat two hotdogs in two minutes.

    Oh, may as well comment while I am here. Honestly, get real. I do not think Grace Lee will have lost anything whatsoever She can continue to get attention and surely her whole business is really not based upon how much she can eat or how she measures up to other eaters, especially eaters for Nathans. Grace Lee will continue to just fine. Scam? Give me a break.
