The Pancake Bowls held at IHOPs across the country should be starting soon. Naader Reda has produced a video about his qualification for the Los Angeles contest.

Lefevre won the Las Vegas area pancake bowl with a total of 45 in the 20 minute contest after being the top qualifier with 52 coming in. Miki Sudo ate 50 while eating a casual breakfast with the Lefevres but never had any intention of being in the pancake bowl. Had she participated and given her all, she would have probably put up Molly like numbers.

Miki Sudo in Las Vegas with the Fevers, I guess the Fever is taking up a new cause. Good job Miki. I just wonder if you ever lost to the Fever in your pro career.Lts have the stats on that one please.

Why would I need a doggie bag when I have all the free pancakes I need for a year and a $500 gift certificate from IHOP for winning the greater Las Vegas area Pancake Bowl. Sorry to be the one to pass along the bad news, Brian, but I ate 45 to win (after being the top qualifier with 52). That’s more than your pathetic self could eat in a week.

It is refreshing to see Rich LeFevre comment as himself. He doesn’t back away, states his opinions, we learn something. Other comments are rotten. Too bad a few people attack anyone who achieves almost anything in CE. They want attention for themselves but do so by spreading hate and gossip and get out their anger and jealousy for the moment. It never lasts, they go on to the next person, event, etc. Hats off to Rich LeFevre and Carlene who set the standards long long ago. Look up their achievements. They are legends.

Thank you for your above comment. I don’t like these personal attacks made against other eaters and wish OJ only include comments that pertain directly to ce events. Personal attacks should not be left on the site as they sevre no valid purpose and just give haters and bitter people a venue to spew their hatred. I believe in freedom of speech, but harmful and off topic comments have no business on an eating website. What made this site great in the first place was great coverage of eating events. It’s too bad a few rotten apples are trying to bring it down.
