10.75 burritos at 1.5 lbs each…..WOW!!!! That is amazing. Good job to Tim and Sonya, as well as the other eaters, but especially to them.

I was wong, they’re only (ONLY said with a big grin) 18 oz each, not the 1 1/2 lbs I thought. Its still a lot of burrtios though. These top eaters are so impressive.

LOL; I like the Tim Brown photo. My favorite eating pics of myself as well are always the ones where I look like I’m about to keel over. No pain, no gain!

These Burritos were big and somewhat gross-packed with sweet pulled pork and alot of rice. I consumed 4 1/4 and am amazed at Eater X & Sonya’s numbers.

You are a good guy US Male and a real man of the sport. Why on earth women are allowed to compete against real men I just dont understand. They just dont belong.

“I know”: Skinnyboy used a list that was pre-published of expected competitors, and filled in what he remembered. And nowhere on his posting does he say that the numbers represent pounds. This was a counted contest; the numbers represent number of burritos eaten, and as Mike Landrich pointed out in is correction, they were 18 ounces each. So, layoff Skinnyboy. He actually ate 2.8125 POUNDS of burrito. You should check your facts before shooting off your mouth. Or at least use an alias that we can tell who you are when you’re being an ass.

Luther: Take your meds, you’re flip-flopping again. Either like the women competitors, or hate them, JUST PICK ONE!

Chip, Arturo, Justin, and Brickhouse were all expected, and all four scratched. Their seats were filled by locals Mike Babich, Kyle Darrow, and Carl E. Hildreth.

Full results (numbers are for count of 18 ounce burritos eaten):

    1.) Tim Janus – 10.75
    2.) Sonya Thomas – 10
    3.) Tim Brown – 6.5
    4.) Crazy Legs Conti – 5.25
    5.) Dave Goldstein – 4.25
    6.) Pete Davekos – 3.5
    6.) William Myers – 3.5
    8.) Mike Babich – 3.25
    9.) Shawn Kirby – 2.75
    10.) Andrew Lane – 2.5
    11.) Carl E. Hildreth – 2
    12.) Kyle Darrow – 1.75

OJ, please correct Dave Goldstein’s link to this contest when you approve them. He has two entries in the database and it is linked to the wrong one.

    Thanks.

For whom it may concern, I do not post on weekends (or I have yet to do so, at least), nor do I use “Anonymous,” unless it was accidental, and whenever that was the case, on perhaps one or two occasions in the past year, I always corrected that mistake almost immediately.

If some of you still insist on playing the who is Rhonda game and want to pair my identity with Eater X, Sonya, Rona, Hank (I don’t even know who the hell he is, by the way), BB, or someone else, then you probably should seek some therapy or medication for your neurosis before you have a real psychotic break.

How do you like that Rhonda?!? Eater-X took home a title despite another top 5 eater there. Sonya did great, but I am very excited Tim is finally using that capacity and getting a big win with some great contest poundage.

I was pleasantly surprised Eric. I addressed this in another thread earlier today.

Yeah, that was a key win for X. He’s faced Sonya six times in 2007. Three times he’s beaten her (burritos, Nathan’s, pretzels) and three times she’s beaten him (St. Patrick’s chowdown, Trip Rewards wings, 3 Brothers pizza). I think we’ve got a bonofide rivalry brewing.

Yeah, my post got posted about 3 hr or so between entering it and it showing up. I had not seen your other post posted yet before I posted. I hope that makes sense, because I can’t use the word “pos_” any more or I will go postal. Dang.
I love Eater-X and I want to make sweet lovin to him so I can have some hansom babies that can eat a lot. (Is this an OK man-crush to have?)
