Has a Nathan’s finals ever been rained out? It doesn’t look like temperature is a factor, at least not for Koby. The temp in 2002 was 96 degrees and he still set a new record.

Going back to 1980, Wunderground says there was light rain in 1981 and 1999 and drizzle in 1984, 1987 & 1989.
