    Who here knows how much they can potentially make? I do and its more than the winner of krystals will get. So much for the $5 box lunch. Just so the ifoce members know what happened……they basically refused us due to an all or nothing mentality. They wanted no one but their eaters in the commercial and a fee. KFC is a place for all the people and we wanted different eaters from different walks of life. We had a great time with them and we feel we picked the right people.

    Now the record has been set.

    I love Ian, but his limited fame is from MTV’s True Life, from many yrs ago. In that show the only eater he was better than, was the granny he beat in spoonbread.

    If you mention Wingador in the Philly area, people will know who you are talking about.

    Yes, I admit it, I am a little jealous. Getting paid to not have to win a contest, endorsing a food I eat already. That shouts Gjoe.

    Side note: Just as the ifoce wasn’t responsible for the Glutton Bowl because mant eaters NOT affiliated w/them were involved, don’t let Arnie take credit for this.

    They got this in spite of Arnie & because the ifoce are super pigs, who only care about their income & not those they supposedly represent.

    I LOVE that two Wing Bowl champs get some face time and some cash! Also happy Hickman was able to do it. I’m not familiar with the other eaters, but it must have been a great experience.

    Joe, what everybody needs to check out on the AICE website is a rant by Arnie about this KFC deal. Rather than say nice things and boast he has an angry tirade about MLE and Eatfeats. The guy caught a bone from the IFOCE table that had some real meat on it and he’s ANGRY about it! Shouldnt he just be happy he got a payday?

    Whenever I read his insanity rants on his websites I wonder what potential sponsors think when they see it. They have no idea what he’s talking about or why he should be so passionately furious. It’s a hoot.

    OK, I think he changed it abit since last night but here’s whats up on the page now. Pretend you are a sponsor considering entrusting a fair portion of your Marketing budget to a contest. You are investigating the corporation that is going to run this contest for you, and this is what you find on the top of the new page:

    hell, I would have LOVED to be in that, but I wasnt, and I’m glad that some Eaters were. Elevating the sport gives all of us potential opportunities in the future. Thats why I get flustered when unprofessional stuff goes down, keeping us full sideshow.

    CHOWHOUND READS EATFEATS!!! Despite that he doesn’t allow his AICE members to read this news blog, he apparently doesn’t feel the rules apply to him. Soon after we pointed out his insane unprofessional write-up, he removed it from his website. Arnie should hire me as his life-coach, he’s got a couple of good things going for him despite himself. Could you imagine if he was competent???

    Arnie got one thing right, that “Japanese Hot Dog Guy” and the Black Widow are still the two most recognizable people in all of CE—-the only two active living legends of the sport; that’s why he mentions them.

    Actually, he does express himself with conviction. He’s certainly not a dummy, just an enthusiastic, jealous, disconcerted, emotionally-charged, above-average eater.
