joeys dispute was with Nathans, not mle! They stated he was banned from nathans contest not all mle contests. If this thing with kobi is a one year deal he will be back at nathans next year!

It is shooting oneself in the foot to have Joey be #1. Bertoletti should have that number for sure. Joey’s management team had him not participate, and Joey got paid handsomely for that. You cannot separate Nathans and MLE.

There is no way joey should be #1. Last year Geoff beat him a lot and still stayed at #2 because joey won Nathan’s. Now this year joey didn’t and pat did so why isn’t pat #1?

MLE ranking system is an absolute joke, statistics are not counted as it is done by media companies (just like the UFC Fighter Rankings is a joke, also done by media companies).
Anybody who has been watching MLE over the last few years knows that Geoff Esper is the number 1 ranked eater and Miki Sudo is the number 2 ranked eater.
Worth noting that Pat moved from being ranked 9th to 2nd and Miki moving from 3 to 5 when she dominated the womens division at Nathans and came 1st once again, but for her first place win she drops down 2 spots from being ranked number 3 to being ranked number 5.
Just shows how much of a joke MLE rankings system is.

Surely this comment is a joke. Miki sudo #2?? In what world ?? Outside of Nathan’s “women’s domination” she’s still HDs bbehind Pat, Geoff & James and I don’t think she has hit top 2/3 for many competitions against the men? You don’t get extra points for being a female.

Pat is really really good Geof is really really good 76 hot dogs is really special and that’s the difference. Nathan’s put professional eating on the map. Without them we wouldn’t be talking. It’s a shame the owner sold to a Chinese owner. Why isn’t there a ranking for woman and men separate ? This league is owned by Nathan’s and until a new league is formed hot dogs will always tilt the scale unfortunately. Hey nice talking to you all.
