Awesome Sean. I appreciate your determination and tenacity. Good luck on the 4th of July. I look forward to seeing you in the finals.

The Shredder usually dominates over a weak field. For some reason when he is faced with an IFOCE opponent that is good for 17 -19 on paper , that same opponent all of a sudden becomes a super hero and manages to edge him out. . Case in point. Pretty Boy Flash Gordon?????? Something is not right or the Shredder has the worst luck imaginable.

It’s unbelievable how much eaters have improved over the last several years. Will anyone qualify with a winning total under 25?

Is eagle diner close by? Maybe shredder can take his frustrations out on the massive quad greasburger

Sean was on fire. His Bunnette couldn’t keep up. All in all, it was a good contest at a great location.

On a side note, there was a couple of brothers who drove up from Jersey. One ate 13. I had stopped at 13, but seeing he got 13, I had to chipmunk one at the end to get my 14. Once he gets a little practice, he’ll be pushing 20. Especially if the “belt of fat” theory holds true, since he was 6’7″ or so and maybe 200 lbs

Wowza. Good job everyone! Nice PR Pete, I hope to eat in another contest with you soon. I dunno how I’m going to keep up with all you crazy bastards if you keep improving so fast!

Good show. The entire time it was a battle between PrettyBoy and Shredder, with PrettyBoy maintaining a lead throughout. However, in the end, 26 proved to be the winning number, with 23 being the tying number for 2nd. Congrats to all who competed! Great time at Foxboro

Congratulations Sean! You certainly earned the trip to the final table, regardless of where your place is!

Also, and this is for the record, I will no longer project an adversarial relationship with any eater(s) or organization. I’ve been doing some soul searching, and if I can’t say something constructive I will keep my thoughts to myself.

I have long believed the World Wide Web is not an appropriate forum to criticize or lambaste people, and every time I have allowed myself to give in to that temptation I always wound up with a heavy heart.

So if you want to throw stones at Rhonda Evans, now’s the time to get your licks in, without fear of reprisal on this site. If I’ve anything to say negatively, I’ll find you, should I deem it to be that important, and say it face-to-face like an adult.

May each of you have a good day and a better week.

    Sincerely,
    Rhonda Lee Evans

Rhonda nobody cares about what you deem to be important or adversial relationship blah blah. Why bother patronizing an eater when he comes back with “Who is Rhonda Evans and how does she know so much about me”? See where all that kissin up does for you?. Gets you nowhere.

I rarely use profanity at work or when dealing with real people in the real world . I went with the “gutter” approach because i am dealing with garbage and that is basically how i wanted to get my point across to idiots that dont exist in my book. These are haters that have hated on Brian from day 1. So save the guilt trip story that you used to admire and appreciate my work. The only joy you get in life is to find fault with anything i do. Im finished with this BB hater blog . I am sure you will find someone else to rag on .

    BB,
As a friend…what are you referring to? Am I missing a comment somewhere?

  32. Rhonda Evans said (Registered March 6, 2008)

    May 12, 2009 @ 8:11 am

Brian, I don’t agree with the gutter approach at all. I give all people the benefit of the doubt when they admit a wrong. Everyone lives in a glass house and if we hurl stones there will surely be a boomerang effect, and we end up sorry in the end. I’ve certainly made done my share of pushing people’s buttons on this site, which was uncalled for.

Eatfeats doesn’t have to be a “hater” site. Given the immense work OJ does in maintaining this site, with its database and plethora of CE information—-he or she must have a staff—-I don’t expect OJ to take the time to screen comments. I appreciate all the other good things about the site.

Brian I honestly believe http://www.beautifulbrian.com and this one can coexist very amicably with one another. I look at OJ as a play-by-play person who reports results and maintains the most comprehensive CE database in the world. I look at BB as a man who oftentimes provides the best CE color commentary on the Web, much of which is about some of the lesser known or up-and-coming eaters. That’s admirable BB.

Focus on the good things—-your strengths. Don’t waste energy by dwelling on the negative. Nothing good ever comes of it. Trying to tear others down doesn’t elevate the one hurling the rocks, so to speak. Those anonymous posters who like to engage in that will eventually see the light (I hope).
