Robert McKinney won the amateur contest with 20 tacos in 3 minutes.

This will be the first head to head matchup between Molly Schuyler and Takeru Kobayashi, who has never lost to a woman.

Molly was up. The show was rigged from the get go. Organizers promoted Kobi so they had to give him the crown.

Molly was ahead at the end, but lost due to the weight amount of the leftovers on the tray. She was around 163, but after weighing the crumbs, dropped down to 130-something. This happened to Mr. Takeru, aswell.

Deductions should not just be based on weight. You could intentionally avoid the hard bits (jalapenos?) and gorge up on the easies that weigh more.

That she did, but this was not a MLE contest where the reversal of fortune dq is applied. There was a lot of food that fell from thier mouths back into the trays as they were both going at warp speed. It took a long time to weigh the debris and I thought Molly had won as she appeared to be a tray ahead even though she ran into tròuble near the end. The last 30 seconds made the difference.

Molly is robbed of a tray between 30-40, very odd they are switching Kobayashi’s trays around at the end (less tacos? I think so), and the marvel eats after time was called. So glad he is a legend.
