All the burping during the final tally was hilarious. I guess having at least a couple of live mics on stage is to thank for that. lol.

Why didn’t MLE release the rest of the results? Who was 4th? 5th? 6th?

They released the full results now. I think it was Pat, George, and Tanner in 4,5, and 6

12:07, you are most certainly Tanner himself commenting. Get back to reality. Do you have a job? How are you able to justify traveling all across the country every weekend for these contests?

By the way, except for the top 6 or 7 eaters, being ranked by MLE means almost nothing. There are only a few eaters in MLE that consistently perform at an “elite” level: Joey, Geoff, Miki, Nick, James, and Pat I would say are the current top dawgs. Everyone else is at least one-step down in terms of speed/capacity. And that’s a fact. Maybe throw Max Suzuki in the conversation as well, although he is not really doing many MLE contests other than Nathan’s

There is a fixed position fan filmed video on youtube and Joey did indeed finish 14 lbs. Unfortunately James was not in frame, but it looked like he may have started by eating half stacks at a time. (too tough to tell since the camera left him)
I’m glad this one is out there since George Shea said Cherish had the task of eating “14 lbs” of balogna in her intro and there was some concern about plates.
This was freaky close to the fudge contest, but Joey was present and got the 14 lbs in 8 minutes, and James & Geoff were much closer.
Unfortunately it looks like Webb’s youtube stream failed, but I would also
like to see his complete contest.

Mike “Droolin” Doolin needs to relax and stop pretending like he’s best buds with everyone in MLE. Gideon can provide his own explanation for why he didn’t compete in the Bologna contest if he wants to… he doesn’t need you tweeting out why he “was there but didn’t compete”. George Chiger did the same qualifier as Gideon, and he was able to compete. I doubt Gideon was cutting it close getting from NYC to Tennessee with 22 hours time to travel. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he traveled with Chiger to the Bologna contest. Regardless, why show up at all if you think you will not make it in time…

Bottom line: If he registered and confirmed he would be there, but ended up not competing, then that is considered a “No Show”. Somebody else could have competed and taken his spot…

    Hi Kate,
I have no doubt of what he ate. I just like to see contests without the camera switching constantly like the tv stations do. If it hits youtube I’ll watch, but you don’t have to do send.
    Big thanks though!

8:00am- what’s the real #’s? Did they miscount?

Even if JWebb ate more than the 11lbs reported, he def didn’t beat Joey. And if he truly believed he did, then they would have reviewed the footage right then and there after the contest to reconcile the results. I even heard Joey say on the livestream to Webb after the contest ended “We have enough cameras here, we can figure it out if we need to…” I assume James was questioning the counts / the total they gave him, which is why Joey said that.

@ 11:50am – No miscount and I don’t think anyone has / was / is disputing the counts. Scores were reported correct.
