    A person like Seiken makes it so difficult to know what to do. Efforts to moderate harmful behavior, harmful even to himself, have been unsuccessful. It seems that Seiken, the topic and person is going to be present in some form until he himself learns to modify his behavior. It seems unfair that this website has to moderate personalities in what people post, but that is the reality.

    Everyone has fragile self-esteem at different times in their lives, even at different times of day. Everyone may have trouble handling anything that may be perceived as criticism. etc. But, in the balance, having relationships means give and take.

    Seiken tries to make himself feel better by reacting with rage and contempt and belittling others yet expects constant praise and admiration. He takes advantage of others yet doesn’t understand when he has trouble keeping healthy relationships including online ones. Just because people post as anonymous doesn’t mean that they haven’t tried privately to be kind, supportive and give suggestions in a critical way. I’ve been there. And no, I will not be checking his blog because his post tells me that all of this is not my idea of Christmas spirit. No longer a fan, I tried my very best.

    Really conjures up an image of someone who deserves admiration and respect, doesn’t it? I don’t even want to know what someone is like in person if they think that this tiny corner of cyberspace warrants that type disgusting, ignorant post. I don’t really understand what he gets out of his little website, but you would think that he’s making a fortune and that priceless goldmine demands protection at any public or private cost. Unfortunately, I doubt it. I’m pretty sure it’s, from what I read here, just a self-absorbed foul-mouth that thinks people actually respect his behavior. Too bad.     Very well said but then again i work with individuals that have PHD’ and masters degrees but they prefer working in the P.O because they couldnt make in the real world. He has tried to enlighten the competitive eating world for the last 7years and just because he refers to OJ Rifkin blog as eatfeces.com everyone including the clinical psycologist feels the need to gang up on him , Why is that? Is he such a bad person for wanting his just due? If he feels he reported something first and OJ Rifkin steals that story without giving him credit he has every right to bitch about it.     Site. It’s a website. The administrator is in charge. Oj is in charge here, Seiken is in charge on his site. Seiken spews hate with curses and threats here and is surprised when people react, he reacts some more, it is endless and boring and has nothing to do with competitive eating. He hates that eatfeats exists and inflates himself saying that things have never been better. If that were true, he wouldn’t be spewing on here. Some people seek constant attention and do not seem to mind that that attention is negative. That is Seiken in sum. He must get something from all this because he doesn’t stop posting. I wish OJ would ban him frankly. The site would be so much better without wasting our time with his comments. If that is called favoritism, not allowing cursing and calling people names, I am all in favor. Look at all of the websites which tell you to post with courtesy. This is ridiculous.

OJ does screen comments while picking and choosing who he protects and doesnt protect. . As far as Seiken is concerned “screw with Seiken till there is no tommorow”, 8:11 You have the right to voice your opiinion about Seiken or anyone else on his blog as well. The only reason OJ permits Seiken to post on here is so he can be mocked by others. Isnt that so OJ? So far i havent seen any posts with Seiken cursing anyone.     My opinion is one of the sites IS better than the other. That does NOT mean that the other site sucks. I still enjoy & frequent the other site. Particularly in this digital age, this who had it 1st is ridiculous. Especially when the source claiming to have it 1st is getting it from another source. Also Eat….s usually sites its source. Apologies are meaningless after… awhile. Why apologize to an anonymous person(s)?

    I’ve had what i believe to be worse shots taken at me than BB, including on occasion, by BB. I’m a big boy, I can deal. I’ve rarely if ever complained. Certainly not in a BB type fashion.
