Steakbellie, Flash, Hall and myself went to the Guantanamo Bay with MWR and Navy Entertainment to entertain the troops over the holiday weekend. It was truely one of the most humbling and satisfying things I have been involved with in my life…

Juliet (almost) caused everyone to never be asked again to entertain the troops. Fortunately, after a period of time, good things resumed.

This turned out to be one of the greatest experiences of my life. I saw things that I never thought i’d see. I heard things that blew my mind. If you you are ever asked to do a show like this, stop everything and go. I am forever effected. On top of which I got to party with Bowling For Soup, who are possibly the greatest party band (and fans of CE) out there. We learned Hall can work the mic, Flash can eat a twinkee or two and Kong cant drink beer like I can.
