IFOCE.com announces registration for the flauta eating contest at Jose’s in La Jolla, California will open Monday. Slots will also be given to qualifier winners. The next qualifier will take place tomorrow and a promo contest will be held tomorrow at 9:30 on XETV.

Streaks at stake in NYC dumpling festival
In tomorrow’s Chef One Dumpling Eating Contest, Joe Menchetti will try to extend his four year winning streak at that competition while “Furious” Pete Czerwinski will attempt to preserve his undefeated career record. 2008 runner up Will Millender will also compete.
Floria Lee, winner of the women’s division every year except 2006, will try to threepeat that division. It has been reported that no other women signed up.
