The Sun has an article about a 40 item breakfast challenge offered by Gary’s Cafe in Shepton Mallet, England. The most items anyone has eaten is 36.

BBC has a segment from The Men Who Made Us Fat about an attempt at the 9.5 pound "Kidz Breakfast Challenge" at Jester's Diner in Great Yarmouth, England.
Ciaran Jones has a report for WalesOnline about his attempt at a meal offered by Ramon's Cafe in Cardiff billed as the "UK's biggest breakfast".
The BBC reports The Robert Pinto was the first person to finish the Kidz Breakfast at Jesters Diner in Great Yarmouth, England. He finished the 9 pound meal which includes 12 rashers of bacon, 12 sausages and six eggs in 26 minutes. In the article, Mike Antolini of MLE discusses the possibility of a future British Nathan's qualifier (the last was held in 2005). Flashback 2005 BBC article about a steak eating contest in England won by Sara Manifold with a total of 100 ounces.
Michelle "Cardboard Shell" was the first person to complete the Bacon & Craeggs challenge consisting of 10 pieces bacon, 6 sausage rounds, 6 eggs, 2 texas toast, 4 pancakes, and homefries. (via Tuscon Weekly)

The Contra Costa Times article about the Outrageous Food segment recorded at Lumpy’s Diner in Antioch was picked up by Yahoo! News and is currently the third most emailed article in all of Yahoo News. (A screen capture is available after the jump.)

The video produced by Jessica “Queen of Cuisine” about her Intimidator challenge attempt at Lumpy’s was embedded in the article, and currently has over 18,000 views. She has also produced a new video about her Sugar OD challenges in Tucson.

The facebook page for Sapp Brothers truck stop in Denver has a gallery of its 9 pound "Ultimate Overload" breakfast skillet challenge. One of the pictures in the gallery shows a diner (who appears to be Jon, finisher of a 7 pound pizza) holding a finisher's shirt.
youtube.com: The Fine Living Network's Freakiest Foods had a segment about the 9 pound breakfast skillet challenge available at some Sapp Brothers truck stops. No one has finished the challenge at the Denver area location.
Joe Wait has uploaded a video of him completing the Fritatta Challenge at Mother's Cupboard Fish Fry and Diner in Syracuse, NY with reportedly a record time.
