Eastern Daily Press has an article about Adam "Beard Meats Food" Moran finishing the 100 ounce steak at the White Hart in Swaffham, Norfolk in 38 minutes in June. He was the first person to finish the challenge.

BBC has a segment from The Men Who Made Us Fat about an attempt at the 9.5 pound "Kidz Breakfast Challenge" at Jester's Diner in Great Yarmouth, England.
The BBC reports The Robert Pinto was the first person to finish the Kidz Breakfast at Jesters Diner in Great Yarmouth, England. He finished the 9 pound meal which includes 12 rashers of bacon, 12 sausages and six eggs in 26 minutes. In the article, Mike Antolini of MLE discusses the possibility of a future British Nathan's qualifier (the last was held in 2005). Flashback 2005 BBC article about a steak eating contest in England won by Sara Manifold with a total of 100 ounces.
The first person to finish a 3kg (6.6 pound) burger in under two hours at Over De Flames pub in Norwich, England will receive a prize of £200.
