Dan Kennedy announced that he and Molly Schuyler both ate 51 chili dogs at the Roast Grill in Raleigh, NC to break the previous men's (28) and women's record (15).
NewsObserver.com reports that Gregory Scott Wilson ate 27 chili dogs in 51 minutes to break a record of 26 set by Jamie "The Bear" McDonald in 2012.
The Roast Grill, featured in the North Carolina episode of Man v. Food, now maintains a women's house record. Kristen Baughman has a blog entry about tying that mark (13 chili dogs).

Roast Grill record reclamation attempt

NewsObserver.com has an article about Gabe Gigliotti’s attempt to reclaim the record at The Roast Grill in Raleigh, NC by eating 24 chili dogs in under an hour. Gigliotti previously held records of 16 and 18 hot dogs. Adam Richman held the record between those marks when he ate 17 hot dogs on a March episode of Man vs. Food.

Man vs. Food Roast Grill (Raleigh, NC) report

NewsObserver.com has an article about the filming of Adam Richman’s hot dog eating challenge at the Roast Grill in Raleigh for an upcoming episode of Man vs. Food. Richman ate at least 10 hot dogs, but it is not reported if he reached his goal of 17 hot dogs. Jason DiMambro attended the recording and had to sign a non disclosure agreeement that he would not reveal the results of the challenge.
