PigOut4Hunger is going to do Denver-area eating challenges to raise money for hunger charities. Their first challenge will be at Beau Jo's on September 7.
Mannie & Bo's Pizzeria in Golden, Colorado will award $500 to the first person to finish its 6 pound calzone in under an hour. Only one two person team consisting of Andrew Lane and Jimmy Mares has finished the challenge.
Westwood.com reports the 11 pound pizza challenge at Virgilo's in Littleton, CO will be featured on tonight's episode of Outrageous Food on the Food Network at 10 pm eastern. Nathan's finalist Stephanie Torres was the first person to complete the challenge earlier this year, earning her a prize of $1,000.
