AFP has a contest report on last month's Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship in which Geoff Esper edged out James Webb. Crazy Legs Conti claims he has won several thousand dollars from eating contests this year (He has not placed in a prize winning position in any of his 2024 competitions).

MyCentralJersey.com has a list of Central New Jersey eating challenges which claims that two ten person teams have finished the 105 pound burger challenge at the Clinton Station Diner in Clinton, NJ. (I was only aware of the team that completed it in Fall 2018).

The Trenton Thunder twitter reports Geoff Esper won today’s pork roll eating contest with a total of 50.
The MLE twitter claims Joey Chestnut will defend his title in Saturday's pork roll eating contest in Trenton, NJ. Carmen Cincotti won the 2017 competition.
Joey Chestnut, Geoff Esper, Gideon Oji, Nick Wehry, Badlands Booker, Brian Dudzinkski, Crazy Legs Conti, Bill Myers, Michael Deitz, Rene Rovtar and Kay Rovtar are expected to compete in the River Fest 2018 Pork Roll Eating Championship in Trenton, NJ on September 29. Defending champion Carmen Cincotti is not listed as an entrant.
The Wisconsin State Fair World Cheese Curd Eating Championship in West Allis, WI on August 11 has been added to the MLE calendar (registration opens May 30). The Owensboro International Bar-B-Q Festival World Mutton Sandwich-Eating Championship in Kentucky on May 12(registration open) and the Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship on September 29 (registration opens July 19) have also been listed.
