Rich Shea hints that there might be a Nathan's qualifier in Minnesota's 2nd most populous city (St. Paul) in 2012. A Minneapolis/St. Paul area Nathan's qualifier was held from 2005-2009. The new poll asks what city that previously held a qualifier (but was not on the 2011 circuit) would you most like to see regain a qualifier.

Eric Dahl was prohibited from competing in a qualifier for a wing eating contest at Champps due to prior competitive eating experience. Mark "Wimpy" Pederson, who has a facebook page about his eating contests, was allowed to compete and took third place in the finals. (Dale, last name not given, won the finals)
Champps will hold a wing eating contest in Maplewood, MN on January 5 awarding a trip to Mexico. Qualifiers will be held tonight and December 22 in Maplewood, MN and New Brighton, MN.
