American Pie Pizza in Richfield, MN will hold a pizza eating contest on June 7 awarding $1400 ($800) to the winner.
HyperVocal reports that a Nazi-themed Christmas party was held at Gasthof Zur Gemutlichkeit, site of the eating challenge at the Minneapolis episode of Man vs. Food. The event was put on by WWII Historical Re-enactment Society Inc.
Matt Stonie has uploaded a video of the brain taco eating contest held at the Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis earlier this month. The youtube commenters generally think that winner Joey Chestnut received favorable judging.

The top 3 in a donut eating contest in Minneapolis on September 28 will receive a spot in the Zombie Pub Crawl brain taco eating contest where Joey Chestnut is expected to compete. The winner will also receive $100.
Registration is now open on IFOCE.com for the Yogurtland Fro Yo Eating Challenge at the Phantom Gourmet Food Festival in Boston on September 29 and World Brain Eating Competition at Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis on October 12.

This afternoon she finished the challenge in Waukee, IA, but did not break the all-time record. Tonight, Molly will attempt the 36 inch challenge at Randy’s Pizza in Oakdale, MN with Eric Dahl and on Friday she will attempt the Adam Emmenecker at Jethro’s Altoona, Iowa location. The challenge will appear on an ABC5 News segment later today.
