In 2012 and 2013, a Hooters wing eating qualifier has been held in conjunction with the opening round of the Masters. We are a week away from the start of that golf tournament in Augusta, GA and I have yet to see any information about a 2014 Hooters MLE circuit. (There will be at least one MLE event at Hooters this month: Joey Chestnut will attend a Final Four party at the Hooters in West End, TX on Sunday).
On a recent episode of the Conan O'Brien show, a 72 ounce steak from the Big Texan was shot by a catapult at a basketball goal outside the Dallas Cowboy stadium (site of this weekend's Final Four).
