The next qualifiers in the Hooters Wing Circuit will take place in Indianapolis on April 18 (first Hoosier state IFOCE contest since 2006 Indiana State Fair) and at the Real Texas Festival in Mesquite, TX (east Dallas area) on April 28. update Registration for the Indianapolis qualifier will open today at 4pm. The Hooter facebook has a additional qualifier cities (San Jose, NYC, Indianapolis, OKC, St. Louis, Jacksonville, FL & Atlanta). update April 7 The full schedule has been posted.

The Indiana State newspaper reports that associate dean of student engagement and leadership development Brooks Moore is trying to prevent a hot dog eating contest held to benefit the Boys' and Girls' Club from paying out a $500 prize on the basis that an eating competition is gambling, which is prohibited by the campus code.
