The field for the Rock the Tot finals in Cleveland on June 24 has been announced: Bob Kuhns, Chance DeWerth, Kevin Ross, Randy Santel and Jamie McDonald. update The only announced female winner of a Rock the Tot contest is Beth "Beef" Berry in Kirkwood, MO, who also won the 2010 contest at that location.

2012 Rock the Tot June 7

Bar Louie’s Rock the Tot has been moved from April to June. All Bar Louie locations will hold tater tot eating contests for individuals and four person relay teams on June 7. The individual winners with the five best times will receive a trip to Cleveland for the finals on June 24.

update The top 5 winning times for 2010 Rock the Tot are after the jump (2011 winners were never announced) Competitors who want to reach the finals will probably need to eat at least 4 pounds in 6 minutes.

Tim "Obi Wing Kenobi" Cain has uploaded a video of his second place finish in at a Rock the Tot contest at a Pittsburgh Bar Louie. Brad "The Lunatic" Sciullo won the contest with by eating 5 pounds and 13 ounces of tater tots, an amount greater than the national winner ate the previous two years.

A press release announces that the third "Rock the Tot" tater tot eating contest will be held at all 51 Bar Louie locations on April 22. As in previous years, the totals of all winners will be compared to produce a national champion.

Bar Louie “Rock the Tot” returns April 23

According to Metromix, “Rock the Tot”, a tater tot eating contest will return to Bar Louie locations on April 23. The winner will receive a $250 gift card. Performances of the winners at each location will be compared to determine an overall champion. Contest poster
