Molly Schuyler finished a Burritozilla in 1:32 in today's qualifier at Iguana's in Campbell, CA, breaking Matt Stonie's previous record of 1:50. She also appears to have eaten a second Burritozilla after the first.

MLE announces that Joey Chestnut has withdrawn from Saturday's gyoza eating contest in Los Angeles to do Chacho's Tacos contest in San Jose. A press release was just sent out hyping the now canceled gyoza faceoff with Matt Stonie.

Manteca Bulletin has the field for the bacon eating contest at Dell’Osso Family Farms in Lathrop, CA on June 19: Miki Sudo, Michelle Lesco, Erik Denmark, Juan Rodriguez, Steve Hendry, Lesley Ryder, Doug Ecks, Dixon West, Andrew Gutierrez and Jon Davis. Joey Chestnut missing the contest guarantees that he will compete in the Nathan's finals undefeated in the calendar year for the first time in his career and will also result in just one matchup between Joey Chestnut and Matt Stonie over the previous nine months before July 4. 40 entrants are expected in the amateur qualifier on June 18: a much larger field than any Nathan's qualifier.
