The Vegan Chicago meetup.com page has no plans to disrupt today's eating contest at the Chicago Ribfest. Last year, they announced their intention to crash the competition on the website.
Registration is now open for the eating contest at the Chicago Ribfest on June 9. A donut eating contest in Santa Monica on June 2 has also been added to the MLE calendar (registration yet to open).
Registration is now open for the last two Nathhan's qualifiers: in Washington, DC June 224 and Naperville, IL July 1 (date changed from June 30).

Taco in a Bag will host the World Cereal Eating Competition at Sidecar in Chicago on October 9. The winner will receive free Taco in a Bag for a year.

Chicago Ribfest disruption plans changed
Meetup.com still has a post from Vegan Chicago about their plans to disrupt and “shut down” Friday’s eating contest at Ribfest Chicago. They have changed their assembly site from a restaurant to John C. Coonley Elementary School. 16 people have said they are going. 
Miki Sudo, Michelle Lesco, Adrian Morgan, Juan Rodriguez, Erik Denmark, Gideon Oji, Andrew Kogutkiewicz and the winner of a qualifier Thursday at Rocks Northcenter are expected at the Chicago Ribfest June 10.
