Messenger Inquirer reports that defending champion Joey Chestnut, Geoff Esper, Gideon Oji and Derek Jacobs are expected to compete in the Owensboro International Bar-B-Q Festival World Mutton Sandwich-Eating Championship in Owensboro, KY Saturday.
The Wisconsin State Fair World Cheese Curd Eating Championship in West Allis, WI on August 11 has been added to the MLE calendar (registration opens May 30). The Owensboro International Bar-B-Q Festival World Mutton Sandwich-Eating Championship in Kentucky on May 12(registration open) and the Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship on September 29 (registration opens July 19) have also been listed.
