Tasty Vegas has a blog entry about an attempt at the Extreme Burger Challenge at LBS Burger Joint. No one has finished the burger in under an hour; El Toro gave up his attempt after 40 minutes.
(via flash383) LasVegasAdvisor reports that A Burger Joint has started a 3 pound "Extreme Burger" which is topped with ghost chili peppers and is free if finished in an hour. The burger will be renamed after the first finisher.
VegasNews has a press release about next month's Martorano’s Masters Meatball Eating Championship which reports that Rich LeFevre will return to competition. Joey Chestnut, Bob Shoudt and Ben Monson are other expected entrants.
