The Daily Meal has an obituary for Holly Moore. He helped develop the Big Mac for McDonald's, then worked for Burger King and held a "Hamburger Bowl" in 1974 in Manhattan between members of the New York Giants & Jets to promote the Whopper. The reboot for Man v Food hosted by Casey Webb will debut on August 7. The initial episode will feature New York City restaurants and the challenge site will be the Lunchbox in Staten Island. What is your favorite or most accomplished moment in activism or other DxE activity?
I would say my most accomplished moment in activism was when I was a part of the group that disrupted the Nathan’s hotdog eating contest. It went pretty much according to our plan and got a lot of media attention.
