Naader Reda announces that he won yesterday’s 30 minute Big Butte Burger eating contest at Lone Butte Casino in Chandler, AZ by eating almost two 4.5 pound sandwiches. “Aubrey” (almost certainly Aubrey Koehn) won the speed eating contest by eating a Big Butte Burger in 5 minutes.

BattleOfTheBone4.com announces that Colin Gardiner won the Battle of the Bone 4 finals for the fourth year in a row and received a Toyota Tundra truck. Kevin Ross was the runner up and received Arizona Diamondback season tickets for the 2012 season. In a comment, Kevin Ross says there were some questions about the judging.

Kevin Ross won the penultimate Battle of the Bone qualifier in Gilbert, AZ on Wednesday with a total of 3.7 pounds of wing meat in 11 minutes. There are two qualifiers left in the Battle of the Bone 4 contest that will award a Toyota Tundra at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ on August 20. The Lotte Butte Casino in Chandler, AZ (Phoenix area) will hold two burger eating contests on August 27. One contest will see who can eat the most burgers in a fixed time period, the other will see who can finish one burger the fastest. Both contests will award ($1000 / $500 / $250 bonus play). AZCentral reports that the Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, Arizona is closed until at least June 15 and may not reopen unless a dispute with city planning officials about the restaurant's color of paint can be resolved.
