AFP has a contest report on last month's Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship in which Geoff Esper edged out James Webb. Crazy Legs Conti claims he has won several thousand dollars from eating contests this year (He has not placed in a prize winning position in any of his 2024 competitions).
The Hoboken, NJ PepperFest will hold a pepper eating contest on October 5 awarding $500/$250/$100.
Ani Ramen will hold a ramen eating contest in Maplewood, NJ on October 8 awarding $1000/$500/$250 to the top 3. The winner will also receive a set of golden chopsticks.

The T-shirt which is awarded to diners who can finish an 18 inch pizza in under 30 minutes has a design which is frequently changed. The record is 3:32 by an anonymous male in 2017.
