Kobayashi on Nathan’s 2010/11 in The Block Magazine
The Block Magazine has an interview with Takeru Kobayashi where he discusses the events at the 2010 Nathan’s finals in more depth than he previously has. Kobayashi’s participation in the 2011 contest appears unlikely:
Even if I were to win the competition [2011 Nathan’s], I don’t think I would feel good about participating in an event held by an organization that has such little respect for me. It wouldn’t be any fun.
The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival in Brooklyn will hold cupcake and donut eating contests Sunday.

Nestor’s Texas Hots in North Tonawanda will hold a hot dog eating contest on Saturday awarding $250 to the winner.
The League of Amateur Competitive Eaters is looking for three teams of four people to compete in a pizza eating contest at The Bell House in Brooklyn on March 28.
The promotions calendar for the New York Mets lists a Nathan's hot dog eating contest on June 4 (via The Ropolitans).
KyoChon New York in Manhattan will hold a wing eating contest on March 13 awarding $400 in gift cards.
