Qualification stunts for Wing Bowl 20 started today. "Iceman" completed his stunt requiring him to eat 6 soft pretzels and a half gallon of milk in 8:30 to gain a spot in the finals on February 3.

The first Wing-Off qualifier awarding a spot in the finals on February 3, 2012 will take place Monday, morning, November 28 at PJ Whelihan’s in Cherry Hill, NJ (via Nick Kehler). Another Philadelphia cheesesteak pilgrimage was made when Paul Wozniak went to Jim's Steaks to pay homage to his mother in law Lynda Kuerth eating 11 sandwiches in 1978 to set the house record, since broken by Bob Shoudt. Chickie's & Pete's, site of the Wing Bowl weigh-ins, will hold a pizza eating contest for charity on May 21 awarding $1000 (or a Bermuda cruise) to the winner and $500 to the runner up. Entrants will need to raise $500 in ticket sales or donations.
