Pizza from Big Mama's & Papa's in Los Angeles was served by Ellen DeGeneres during the Oscars awards. Before tonight, the pizzeria was probably most famous for its 36 and 54 inch pizza challenges. update March 3 In 2010 Eva Longoria personally delivered a 36 inch pizza from Big Mama's & Papa's update #2 People.com has an article about the delivery. Joey Chestnut has been nominated for the "Outstanding New Limit" category of ESPN's Sport Science Newton Awards, which will be announced tomorrow on the 5 pm eastern edition of Sportcenter. In the Marie Claire Australia about female competitive eaters, the claim is made that the broadcast on ESPN2 received a higher rating than the major league baseball game on July 4. That is an interesting assertion since no baseball game was televised on ESPN / ESPN2 on that day.
