Rungy describes Joey Chestnut as "not really like, a patriot, you know" who lacks personality. (Joey Chestnut did a tour of Pacific military bases with Adrian Morgan and Crazy Legs Conti last year and his brother served in the National Guard in Iraq.)

A press release lists the prizes to be payed out at Dickey's Barbecue eating contest in Dallas on October 18: $500 / $250 / $150 / $50. Qualifiers will be held Friday in Plano, TX and in Pleasanton, CA and Meridian, Idaho on Saturday.
