"Cardboard Shell" has uploaded a video of a Nathan's training session which begins with thank yous to the people who have donated to her Sudanese charity fundraiser.
"Cardboard Shell" is using her attempt to eat 25 hot dogs in the Nathan's Tempe, AZ qualifier (Sonya Thomas and Juliet Lee are the only women to eat more in a qualifier) to raise money for Sudanese schools and public healthcare.

Stephanie Torres & “Cardboard Shell” added to IFOCE top 50

Commenters noticed that the IFOCE top 50 was changed yesterday. The top 20 appears unchanged. Stephanie Torres (#21) and Michelle “Cardboard Shell” Lesco (#26) are the new entrants. Kevin Ross (formerly #26) and Shawn Kirby (formerly #50) were dropped. Damon Wells jumped from #28 to #22. Five women in the top 50 sets a new record for female representation.

“Cardboard Shell” finishes 3 pound burger in 6 minutes

“Cardboard Shell” (a petite woman) has posted a blog entry about her completion of the three pound burger at Lobby’s in Tempe, Arizona at a contest held by the College Times. Her time of 6 minutes set an overall record for the restaurant. The College Times facebook has a gallery of the event.

“Cardboard Shell” also had Lindy’s on 4th in Tuscon create a special version of their “OMFG” 3 pound burger having grilled cheese sandwiches for buns and onion rings as a topping for each patty, which she was able to finish in the time limit of 20 minutes.
