Midnight Poutine has a blog entry about Sunday's eating contest held at Poutineville in Montreal. The winning team had been finished for about 15 minutes when "Muscles Glasses" of Epic Meal Time reversed, disqualifying his partner "Furious" Pete Czerwinski.

The amateur contest has taken place. A 24 year old student from York University won the amateur contest with a total of 2.5 pounds in 6 minutes.
Meredith's Boxberger, the 3rd place finisher in last month's Pie Wood Fired Pizza contest with a total of 21 slices (Kobayashi 1st 43 slices, "Furious" Pete 2nd 25 slices) has started a twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/deepfrieddiva announcing she will be competing in today's Smoke's Poutinerie contest in Toronto. (I have not seen a full entrants list for that competition.) Meredith did an interview on B101 yesterday to promote the contest.
