The fourth episode of the MLE podcast Men in Boaters was released today. The retirement of Meredith "Deep Fried" Diva was announced and Darron Breeden and Juliet Lee were listed as expected entrants in Saturday's Nathan's qualifier at the Preakness Balloon Festival in Maryland.
The instagram page for qii, a drink claiming it improves dental health, has an advertisement starring Meredith Boxberger.
"Deep Fried Diva" Meredith Boxberger appeared in an ad for qīī , a tea that claims it improves oral health. She also did a testimonial video about the product.

The favorites are Meredith Boxberger and Tim Janus, who says he has not eaten a hot dog since the 2014 Nathan’s finals.
Janus’ last contest was the Brooklyn cannoli eating contest in October. According to the official account of that event, he received second place after he claimed he was credited with an extra plate after tying Badlands Booker. (Interestingly, the Brookly Daily’s account makes no mention of that deduction and claims the margin was .75 cannolis.)

Ghassan Al-Hadhrami ran 2.5 miles, ate 12 donuts, then ran back 2.5 miles in 28:50 to win the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh, NC today. 2 time winner Tim Ryan, who has competed in several MLE contests, finished sixth. Meredith Boxberger finished the challenge in 57 minutes.
Meredith Boxberger ate 9 specialty hot dogs in 12:29 to set the record at What Up Dawg? in East Lansing, MI.
Meredith Boxberger announces that she has accepted a job with Mars Chocolate North America as associate brand manager and will be moving to New Jersey.
Business Week has an interview with Meredith "Deep Fried Diva" Boxberger about how her competitive eating career has helped her job prospects. She is serving as a marketing intern for Mars Chocolate this summer and expects to graduate with a MBA from Michigan State University next year.
