This year's Chef One Dumpling eating contest will take place in Brooklyn on October 18. Both the men's & women's divisions will have a purse of $2000; the winners will receive $1100.
Molly Schuyler, Dave Brunelli and Wayne Algenio are expected to compete in the Bierhaus NYC bratwurst eating contest on October 4.

The cannoli eating contest at the San Gennaro Festival in Little Italy, NYC will take place on September 12. A non-MLE pizza eating contest will be held on September 17.
A press release announces that Molly Schuyler and Dave Brunelli are expected to compete in the HandsFree Pumpkin Pie Eating Championship at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, NY on September 28. Last year's contest was the site of the only defeat of Molly Schuyler's competitive eating career.

update Sept 2 The festival facebook has a larger picture of Joey holding the results sheet which appears to list Joey Chestnut’s weight as 6.02 pounds. This is well below the his winning total of 7.61 pounds two years ago which would make Sunday’s contest a non-record.
