The Buffalo News website has republished an article about an hot dog contest in its January 22, 1975 issue. Tony Domagala ate 18 hot dogs in 20 minutes to win the $200 first prize.
The Hudson Valley Wing Bowl has posted the qualifier circuit for the wing eating contest that will award $1047 on January 24. Semi finals on January 9, 10, 16 and 17 will award $104.70 in addition to a spot in the finals.

According to a video by Team Subject to Change, Dave Brunelli was the top male at the New York City Dumpling Festival eating contest with 75. Wayne Algenio announced he was 3rd. The women’s totals are not included in the video. In a picture of the prize winners at the 5:13 mark, Molly Schuyler is holding a trophy and Stephanie Torres also appears to be a prize winner. The Korean Food Festival will hold "Oh Yes" choco cake eating contests tomorrow and Saturday awarding $300 Macy's gift cards.
The Kings County Saloon in Brooklyn will hold a pickle eating contest Sunday awarding $250 ($200 to the winner).

Tim Janus and Jonathan "Super" Squibb appeared in the same segment on MyFoxNY but did not compete against each other. "Eater X" promoted tomorrow's cannoli eating contest in Brooklyn while Squibb did a wing eating contest.
Wayne Algenio won today's pie eating contest at Luna Park in Coney Island to claim a prize of $250.
