LosAngeles.Craigslist.org has a request for a competitive eater to star in a series of one minute documentaries. There will be no monetary compensation.
Gawker.com competitive eating content
Last week Gawker Media sold its websites: Gawker.com (gossip), Deadspin.com (sports), Jezebel.com (women), Kotaku.com (video games), etc. to Univision after declaring bankrputcy following the loss of an invasion of privacy lawsuit filed by WWE legend Hulk Hogan for posting a sex tape without his permission. While the bulk of Gawker Media’s competitive eating content was posted on Deadspin, which will remain in operation, there were a few competitive eating articles on Gawker.com, which will shut down today (the fate of the Gawker archives are not clear):

In her latest video, Kate Ovens attempted to eat a 28 ounce "Glam Burger" covered in gold leaf and milkshake from Honky Tonk in London.
Ramsey Hilton won the first prize of $500 in today's eating contest at Condado Tacos in Columbus.
Darron Breeden finished the challenge at Family Pizzeria in Staffod, VA intended for two diners without assistance yesterday.

The 2016 Chef One Dumpling eating contest will take place at the NYC Dumpling Festival in Sara D. Roosevelt Park in Manhattan on September 24. $2000/$1000/$500 will be awarded to the top 3 men and women.

McDonald's food is free to athletes in the Olympic Village with a limit of 20 items per person.
