WGRZ reports that Man vs. Food will record in two Niagara Falls restaurants in Canada this weekend. The challenge for the Niagara Falls episode will be the 48 ounce rib eye at the Riverstone Grill in Grand Island, NY. Buffalo News reports septuagenarian Marilyn Gratto has completed the challenge steak 8 times.
The Colbert Report did a segment on the 2010 Nathan's finals.
The Las Vegas Sun has more information about Joey Chestnut competing against Shaquille O'Neal Saturday for an upcoming episode of Shaq vs. The site will be Serendipity 3 in Caesar's Palance and the competition food will be hot dogs.
USA Today reports that 1.2% United States households watched the 2010 Nathan's finals (corresponding to 1.677 million viewers) This is an audience increase of about 400,000 from last year, and about the same number of viewers as in 2007.

Hello there! I am looking for competitive eaters in the Los Angeles area to participate in a live bit for our show (possibly tomorrow night). We are doing special shows for the NBA Finals and want to set up a competition… the catch is: they will be attempting to eat a basketball.
